This position is primarily based in a PNC location out of Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Philadelphia, PA. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager's discretion.

PNC AMG is a relationship-based provider of investment, planning, banking and fiduciary services to wealthy individuals and institutions through the proactive delivery of value-add ideas and solutions. The Asset Management Group offers personal asset management for high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families and institutional asset management services to corporations, healthcare systems, insurance companies, unions, municipalities, and nonprofits.

The Communications Lead Sr. is a member of the Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team of approximately 300 professionals and will advise and support the AMG businesses on critical communications trends, strategies and tactics in support of business objectives and needs. This individual plays a hands-on role in the design and execution of a results-oriented and holistic strategic communications program that promotes employee engagement, advances business reputation, and increases the visibility of AMG success across key stakeholder audiences.

What You'll Do:
• Partner with business leadership and teams to lead the strategic planning and development of robust, creative and holistic communications designed to inform, educate and engage AMG employees and cross-functional business partners about business-specific initiatives, opportunities and successes, in line with AMG business priorities;
• Leverage data and results to measure the effectiveness of communications approaches and deliverables, which will be used to inform recommendations for communications strategies;
• Play a critical role in providing communications counsel to the AMG leadership team; providing updates on progress and performance and advising on approach for current and future communications opportunities;
• Lead and manage internal employee events intended to provide business updates, communicate key initiatives and offer important data and information about progress against business objectives;
• Identify opportunities to collaborate - and potentially drive - external communications, in tandem with internal communications timing and deliverables to create a 360-degree communications approach in support of the line of business;
• Promote a high-performance culture built on teamwork, trust and a commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and learning

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business or communications-related field
• 8 + years of experience in corporate communications - ideally a blend of internal and external communications - with financial industry experience highly preferred
• 8+ years of experience in the development of holistic communications strategies in support of employee engagement, stakeholder relationship-building and executive communications
• Strong writer and editor; excellent story telling capability and ability to develop content that resonates across multiple communications platforms

  • Identifies issues and opportunities, serves as trusted advisor to organization on all aspects of communication, and engages other parts of the organization to ensure strategic alignment, clarity, and accuracy of message.
  • Coordinates final review and approval before internal or external communications are released.
  • Leads project teams, coaches, influences outcomes, and evaluates success as appropriate.
  • Consults and advises on communications strategies based on data-driven insights.
