The beauty of Greece has to be seen to be believed. With its nearly endless islands, perfect weather, and rich history and culture, it can be nearly impossible to choose where to go. At the same time, you’re basically guaranteed a magical visit no matter what you do!

When traveling to Greece, you’ll typically fly into Athens International Airport which is the largest and busiest airport in Greece. From there you can take a connecting flight or a ferry to wherever you’re off to next.

Nestled in the heart of the Cyclade Islands, Paros is most famous for its beautiful beaches and water sports. This is the perfect place for the adventurous vacationer to go! When people think of Greece, they think of beautiful beaches and endless ocean views—and Paros is exactly that. We spent countless hours enjoying the sand, sea, and the amazing food.

Let this guide inspire you to plan your very own Paros trip.

Lefkes Village

This amazing town dates back to the 17th century and was absolutely magical. It’s the perfect day trip in Paros and is full of winding narrow streets, dazzling architecture, and charming restaurants.

Anezina Village

We had the most magical cooking lesson at Anezina Village, a delightful resort on the southeastern coast of Paros. We learned how to filet a fish, make spanakopita, stuffed grape leaves, and tabbouleh among other traditional dishes. It was a super hands-on class and we made everything ourselves.

Sante co*cktail Bar

Nestled underneath a shady eucalyptus tree, Sante serves not only fantastic co*cktails and coffee, but an amazing soundtrack every night. They have a collection of vinyls to choose from as well as a handcrafted playlist to get you in the mood here.

Loukoumades “To Paradosiako” Naousa

This famous donut shop is a local favorite! They don’t even have a website, just a Facebook page! We were able to sneak a second trip to Loukoumades after our ferry to the next island was delayed and we’re so grateful for it.

Almond Paros

From exquisite coffees to granola bowls full of superfoods, Almond is an all-day dining spot that truly shines at breakfast.

Gemini

Found in Naoussa’s Old Town district, Gemeni serves rustic fare inspired by homemade recipes and made by the restauranteur’s own mother! Not to mention, the wine list is incredible and pairs perfectly with every dish.

Stilvi Paros

Modern Mediterranean fare and delicious co*cktails are served in an open courtyard that begs for you to take your time and unwind.

Medusa Paros

My Favorite Places On Paros Island, Greece (12)

We stopped at Medusa for some co*cktails after our cooking class at Anezina Village! This is the perfect place to enjoy a lively drink and dance in the street.

This organic winery offers tours, wine flights, and small bites as well as a beautiful patio area to enjoy the weather as you sip on their delicious creations.

This place is so much more than a bakery! We tried their orange cake, their breakfast, coffee, and their fresh squeezed orange juice and each and every item was just incredible!

Siparos Seaside Restaurant

This beautiful seaside restaurant was our favorite meal in all of Paros. They serve fresh and inventive takes on regional cuisine that still makes my mouth water.

Monastiri Beach

My Favorite Places On Paros Island, Greece (20)

This beautiful beach has a full bar and beachside chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas you can reserve ahead of time. It’s friendly for adult travelers and families alike thanks to the all the sun, sand, and theEnvironmental and Cultural Center of Paros nearby.

Kalogeros Beach

This beach was absolutely incredible and the water was so crystal clear! The best part is that the mud has healing properties that help cleanse and smooth the skin. I recommend bringing some sort of cup or bowl so you can mix the clay from the walls with the ocean water and make your own mask.

Golden Beach

Golden Beach gets its name from the shining glass-like (but not sharp) sand that glistens in the sun. It’s especially magical during sunrise and sunset.

Kolympethres Beach

This beautiful beach is actually the bay of Nauossa, the little town we visited in Paros. There are plenty of rock formations to climb and there is an area to rent water sports equipment! The beautiful rocks are so smooth to the touch thanks to years of of erosion and were the perfect backdrop for photos.
