This year, we are honored to award one outstanding teacher in the district as the Liberty Capital Bank Teacher of the Year. Our partners at Liberty Capital Bank have generously sponsored this award, and we are thankful for all they do for us as a district, and for this one deserving teacher. We received one nomination from each campus, with each teacher exhibiting true Titan spirit by inspiring every student to do more, expect more, and be more. This year’s outstanding candidates were as follows: Ewing – Kellie McCoy10th – Brooklyn RobinsonJefferson – Dinora GonzalezPafford – Katie HernandezLedbetter – Mariela MartinezPanola – Nichole Richmond Each of these six finalists are shining examples of what it means to be a great teacher, and TBP is lucky to have them. It is an honor to announce the winner of the 2019 Liberty Capital Bank Teacher of the Year: Dinora Gonzalez - an outstanding seventh grade teacher at our Jefferson campus. Dinora received a check for $1,000 from Liberty Capital Bank in recognition of her wonderful work! In addition, each of the other five candidates will receive a payment in the amount of $400 from TBP! At the Night of the Stars event, Ms. Shou and Ms. Escobar from our TBP Ledbetter campus were recognized as the District Teacher of the Year and District Support Staff of the Year! Congratulations on achieving this award! We are so grateful for all that you do for our campus and how you pour into our students, our team, and our community. This District recognition is well-deserved! 🌟🏆
